Ladies and gentlemen.

This long story cannot be made any shorter.
Ryone is a young man who has strong feelings for a young woman named Banana. His naive awe, and his newfound struggles to define and communicate the undefinable emotion called love, lead him to over-examine a reality wherein he must ask this question: When the girl nature commits him to feels nothing towards him, can he accept that worst tragedy an individual can suffer known as unrequited love, or can he find enough strength to complete love's puzzle and freeze hell itself, if that's what it takes, so that she ... flower that she is ... will grow fond enough of him to finally say "yes" when it counts? The difference between tragedy and comedy relies upon whether or not Hell will freeze over before this story ends.

A girl named Tatiana who lives in SanDiego read these scripts and sent me a long e-mail. There was a part about Ryone, in which she said:

"So, Ryone. There's a little bit of him in everyone, I think, but maybe to varying degrees. I see a lot of myself in him, so I understand where he's coming from; and although he's a little extreme, I think a lot of people would identify with him if they're honest with themselves. In some ways, he's overly dramatic, and looking for depth and meaning where it doesn't exist; but overall, he's well-meaning. Like, who can't fault a guy for trying to be happy, right? He's sincere, and he's a gentleman."

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn right.

The girl in Ryone's heart is Banana. They are both sixteen when the story begins. At that time, Banana wears a sailor-scout school uniform rather frequently. When she's not wearing that, she's a t-shirt and jeans girl. In some casual situations, when she relaxes and plays her guitar, she enjoys wearing a long-sleeve shirt under a short-sleeve shirt, but the primary focus of this series is not those casual situations, so you don't really get to see her guitar, or that part of her wardrobe, in this story. Her eyebrows are orange, but her hair is blonde. Her hair is shoulder-lengthed, and mildly styled. Since she enjoys watching TV a lot, you'd assume that she'd have a bit of chubbyness, but she's skinny ... even though she eats a lot. Good metabolism. She got addicted to anime shortly after her dog died two years before our story begins. She used to take him to the dog-park frequently. Back then, her hair was long (down to her butt) and orange, but now it's short (down to her neck) and dyed-blonde. She sometimes gets lazy and has her orange roots showing. When she's not wearing her school uniform, she prefers long shirts. She doesn't like to let her belly show. She prefers warm clothes to revealing clothes. She's playful and free-spirited, and sometimes a cheerleader, but she's not usually that social. Where pants are concerned, she prefers jeans over anything else. She's lazy. She showers every morning before breakfast, then she changes into her school uniform. But on days when she's not at school, or when she just doesn't feel like going to school, she wears her jeans and a sweater, or a baggy shirt. She's got freckles on her face, but they're not noticable unless you're very close to her.

Buster is Banana's grandson from the future. For an important chunk of the story, he's twelve and thirteen. At that time, he's got cool hair with purple streaks in it, and he's "sporty" but scrawny. He skateboards and plays hockey and basketball, and baseball and soccer. He's also into track and feild events such as running, and he loves to play drums. He's a cool little
dude.

It may take thousands of years before science can propel humanity to heaven. In the meanwhile, find heaven on earth by enjoying the series BANANA CHAN. She's still a little green ... and if Banana lets Ryone enjoy her while she's yellow, he'll stick around and take care of her when she's rancid.

Written characters are alive. The challenge is to teach them to treat each-other as equals so that I can feel good about the imprint they'll leave on others. Each of my characters live by their own beliefs. Can they live together?

BUSTER'S BELIEF:
The things which make life great: love, nature, fitness, the outdoors, friends, and family.

BAKA'S BELIEF:
You mustn't classify a Demon as a Demon before you've been a Demon.

RYONE'S BELIEF:
Naivity is healthier than being a skeptic or a cynic.

MY (THE AUTHOR'S) BELIEFS:
*Everyone listens selectively to believe what specifically works for them personally.

*Don't believe life sucks when it sucks; always strive, with hope, for a better day.

*Demons don't exist -- perception fools fools into prejudice.


This story is tea.

The series is "water" wherein the character leaves mix to become the story tea.

Tea surrenders to the wind.
Tea cannot control its own temperature;
it can't dream of controlling the wind.

The "water" was poured into the kettle.
As the leaves and sugar combine,
the drink's structure and identity becomes theirs.
Theirs is the tea.

The wind is an essential breath
so the leaves and sugar may find
a comforting warmth.
Some leaves are afraid of leaving their comfortable bag,
and some sugars are afraid that dissolving means losing thier identity.
The wise leaf must convince his group that they'll all be home as tea.
The tea must neither be too strong, or too weak.
The perfect tea is not part of an acquired taste.
The perfect tea is everyone's favorite tea.
I want this series to be that perfect tea which everyone can agree on.

The following picture requests aren't becuase of scenes in any scripts. I just want them because they'd make me smile. And maybe a smile will help me make the tea. So if anyone draws any version of the characters, in the following described pictures, that artist would hereby rock. These are things I wish for a volunteer to draw:
